We are on for Sundar, our base will be Kpg Punang with Kpg Awat-awat mudflats as our main target area. We hoping to explore the surrounding mangroves near Kpg Punang as well and perhaps sneak in a session of two of fishing.
Our targets this trip :
Great-billed Heron, Lesser Adjutant, Chinese Egrets, Pacific Reef Egret , and of course waders that we've heard so much about, Malaysian Plover being one of them.

Day One:-
0800 Arrive Lawas , breakfast in town
0900 Walkabout in Lawas town
1000 Van pick-up to base
1200 Arrival at base: homestay
1300 Lunch
1600 Boatride 1 : Survey mangrove east of Kpg Punang
1900 Return to base
2000 Dinner
2100 Discuss plans for next day and fish
2200 Bedtime or fish
Day Two:-
0630 Breakfast
0730 Boatride 2: Survey mudflat west of Kpg Awat2
1100 Stop by Kpg Awat2
1200 Explore Kpg Awat2
1300 Lunch and rest
1600 Boatride 3 : Survey mudflat west of Kpg Awat2
1900 Return to Kpg Punang
2000 Dinner
2100 Discuss plans for next day and fish
2200 Bedtime or fish
Day Three:-
0630 Breakfast
0730 Boatride 4: Kpg Punang West and River
1200 Lunch in Kpg Punang
1300 Pack up, relax and fish
1500 Van to Lawas/airport
1700 Flight back
